LCME™ was created by Farrah Henley, a 25+ year veteran homeschool and elementary teacher turned founder and CEO of Farrah Henley Education, LLC. It was created for Kindergarten to 2nd-grade teachers in 2018 and has since grown to support Kindergarten to 5th-grade teachers worldwide.

Learning Centers Made Easy™ exists to meet the need for meaningful, engaging, and teacher-created activities that serve all students in the classroom. Our mission with LCME™ is to keep your ability to pull small groups a reality because we know, from years of experience, that teaching in small groups is the best way to give students the support they need to be successful.

Let's face it. When you are teaching a group of 30 students, somebody... no, MOST OF THEM...are not listening and are probably not processing all of the amazing lesson information you are delivering. You know that if you get them into a small, intimate group at your teacher's table, you have a better chance of reaching them and helping them progress.

But what about all the other students who are NOT at your table? What are they supposed to do while you give personal attention to that small group of students?

That's right! The go-to answer given by teachers (and admin) is CENTERS! But here's the catch! You didn't learn how to implement centers in your college classes to become a teacher. In fact, it's just something that people assume teachers are inherently born with the ability to do. If we spent half as much time teaching teachers how to manage and run small groups as we do teaching them how to write lengthy, drawn-out lesson plans, we might make some progress.

Bottom line, you need a system for implementing centers that WORKS. But more than that...you need a system that is SUSTAINABLE. Learning HOW to run centers is the first step. The biggest issue that teachers struggle with is WHAT to put in them. Some of your students need more assistance than others, and they are not all at the same academic level. Then, these needs change not just from year to year but also from day to day in many classrooms.

Learning Centers Made Easy™ is devoted to supporting teachers who are trying to teach in small groups so that the learning taking place can have a greater impact, and so teachers aren't spending their non-contract hours endlessly searching for and prepping materials.

Learning Centers Made Easy™ is a growing library FULL of literacy, phonics, grammar, and math center activities (over 3,500 hands-on activities) for your small-group instruction blocks. They incorporate our Easy Centers Framework™, which allows students to work independently once the familiar activity styles and expectations are introduced.
